ARC Research Hub for Advanced Technologies for Australian Iron Ore

The Australian Research Council (ARC) has established an Industrial Transformation Research Hub (ITRH) in the area of iron ore, focussed on iron ore beneficiation, materials handling and end-use functionality. This hub brings together industrial organisations and well-established research groups. These groups have a record of working closely with industry and include the expertise of the University of Newcastle, Newcastle Institute for Energy and Resources, Priority Research Centre for Advanced Particle Processing and Transport, TUNRA Bulk Solids and the Centre for Ironmaking Materials Research at Newcastle.


The ARC Research Hub for Advanced Technologies for Australian Iron Ore will focus its attention on developing innovative approaches on a suite of novel technologies to create enhanced value across the full value chain.
