As a part of the hub activity, a half-day seminar was organised by the hub students at the Novotel Newcastle on 21st August 2018. The aim of the seminar was to provide an insight about the ongoing research in the different areas of the hub. The seminar was organised with Iron Ore as a theme for the presentations that covered the topics in the following areas:
  • Beneficiation
  • Material Handling
  • End-use functionality
There were 9 presentations in total, given by the students and the research associates working in different streams. This was attended by around 20 delegates from the university including the Hub director, Chief investigators and Hub Manager.
