On the 13
th November, the ARC Research Hub for Advanced Technologies for Australian Iron Ore students participated in a training course on Communication Excellence in which they had the opportunity to further develop communication and presentation skills. The course, offered by specialists in Neuro-Linguistic Programming, focused on aspects such as identifying and communicating effectively with different personality types, bridging the gap between speaker and listeners and included a practical session in which the students gave a short presentation and obtained feedback on the spot. The course was extremely successful and students reported that the skills acquired are useful not only for work and research purposes but for life.
